Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy went down in pain after he was targeted on a deep pass from quarterback Russell Wilson in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
Jeudy was holding his left ankle/foot on the field after falling down. He was able to limp off the field and was taken to a blue medical tent to be evaluated by the team’s medical staff. Jeudy was then carted to the locker room and the team ruled him out for the rest of the game shortly after.
Jeudy was replaced on offense by fellow receiver Kendall Hinton.
Jeudy, 23, was selected by the Broncos in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Alabama. He’s battled through numerous injuries and inconsistent performances since then, missing six games with a high ankle sprain last year.
Going into Sunday’s game, Jeudy had caught 30 passes for 449 yards and three touchdowns through eight games this season.
